Tasik Kenyir (Kenyir Lake), located in the heart of Terengganu spans over 260,000 hectares, making it the largest man-made lake in South East Asia. Terengganu, located in the East Coast of Malaysia, is also famous for its beautiful beaches and is also a nesting site for 4 species of sea-turtles. Tasik Kenyir is so large that it shares its borders with Kelantan in the west and Pahang in the south, serving as a gateway to Taman Negara National Park, one of the world's oldest rainforest enclaves.
